Insurance Works

Find the leak
tbefore you open the wall.

Non-destructive investigation that locates the source before anything is opened up — then documents it to the standard an insurer will accept.
The approach

Evidence first,
excavation last.

A leak that has reached a ceiling has usually travelled some distance from where it started. Opening up at the stain is how a small claim becomes a large one — three holes later the source is still upstream and the reinstatement bill has trebled.
Thermal imaging, acoustic tracing and moisture mapping locate the source without demolition. The property gets opened once, in the right place.

Because leak detection sits between general maintenance and an insurance claim, the same investigation serves both: it tells a managing agent what needs repairing, and it gives an insurer the evidence a trace and access claim requires.

01

Site assessment

History, symptoms and the building’s construction. Where the water shows is rarely where it starts.

02

Non-destructive tracing

Thermal imaging, acoustic equipment and moisture mapping narrow the source without opening anything up.

03

Access and confirm

One controlled opening at the located point, confirming the source before any further work.

04

Repair and reinstate

The leak is repaired and the opening made good — documented throughout if a claim is running.
